Andrea Bendig MSN BSN RN CM DN

Andrea is a Registered Nurse with over 25 years of experience. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management degree, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, as well as a Nurse Case Manager and Delegating Nurse certification.  She is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner.  

She began her nursing career after high school with a dream of caring for others.  Nursing is the only career she knows which makes her an advanced and compassionate educator, healthcare navigator and advocate.  Andrea's experience is extensive, including the role of Director of Nursing with a focus in geriatric care within home and assisted living settings. 

In previous roles, she was a recipient of the Mildred Baron scholarship award and attended dementia training at the Copper Ridge Institute.  She was a certified trainer for The Virtual Dementia Tour by Second Wind Dreams ®, teaching employees, caregivers and family members about dementia.

Andrea is a member of the Howard County Local Health Improvement Coalition, Healthy Aging Group and the National Nurses in Business Association.  She lives in Howard County, MD and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family which includes two Newfoundland dogs.
