Why Andrea Created Wellness Strategies Group

Andrea has witnessed countless gaps between the patient and the healthcare system in a complex healthcare world. Her personal and professional experiences led her to create a premier service that bridges the healthcare gap.

In the fall of 2020, Andrea sat in a physician’s office, seated next to her husband. The doctor shared the horrific news that her husband has incurable cancer.

“The physician continued speaking about the disease, treatment options, and the next steps, but I didn’t hear anything he said,” Andrea said.

“There were so many questions that went through my mind. Even as an experienced healthcare professional, I felt lost and confused.”

It is Andrea’s mission to ensure that no one feels alone or unsure of themselves when making critical healthcare decisions.

If you or your family members are feeling lost and or overwhelmed, Andrea Bendig can help you as your personal healthcare advocate.
